Senior Residential Support Worker St Albans, Hertfordshire £16.25 £16.85 per hour £32,955 £34,171 basic + sleep-ins £62.64 per sleep-in 4 8 per month Potential earnings: £35,955 £40,171 Full-time, Permanent Long days and sleep-ins We are recruiting an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a 4-bed Ofsted-rated Good children s home providing therapeutic, child-centred care. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will: Build positive relationships with children and young people. Provide daily care, routines, activities and emotional support. Lead shifts and support other Residential Support Workers. Support young people with emotional and behavioural needs. Contribute to care plans, risk assessments and behaviour plans. Maintain accurate records and incident reports. Promote safeguarding and child protection. Work with managers, social workers and other professionals. Help maintain a safe, consistent and nurturing home. About You 12+ months experience working with children and young people. Level 3 Residential Childcare / Caring for Children and Young People qualification. Experience with therapeutic and child-centred approaches. Confident supporting emotional and behavioural difficulties. Able to lead and support a residential care team. Strong communication and record-keeping skills.
