Team Leader

Job Description We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join in Gravesend. The successful candidate will lead a production team, manage daily operations and ensure production targets, quality and food safety standards are consistently achieved. The ideal candidate will have previous team leader or supervisory experience within a fast-paced production environment, with strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hands-on professional to support team performance and drive production efficiency. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a production team within a fast-paced fresh-cut fruit manufacturing environment. Allocate duties and manage staff effectively to ensure daily production targets are achieved. Monitor production performance, labour costs and waste levels, taking action where required to improve efficiency. Ensure products meet customer specifications and the required quality and food safety standards. Lead by example on the production floor, maintaining high standards of hygiene, health and safety and housekeeping. Support, motivate and develop team members to improve performance, teamwork and engagement. Manage breaks, attendance and team cover to maintain smooth production throughout the shift. Complete production records, paperwork and relevant administrative duties accurately.
