Teaching Assistant (KS3 & KS4) | Alternative Provision

• Location: Stroud
• Pay: -90115 per day + Holiday Pay (Holiday Pay - 12.07% of your day rate is accrued into your holiday pot)
• Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term

We''re recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Alternative Provision in Stroud, supporting Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students who benefit from additional guidance both in and out of the classroom.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, resilient and passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.

• Supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.

• Helping students engage with learning and build confidence.

• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

• Working closely with teachers and support staff.

• Supporting educational visits and off-site activities where required.

• At least 30 days'' experience working with children or young people.

• Experience supporting additional needs or challenging behaviour is desirable.

• A calm, compassionate and positive approach.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• A genuine passion for supporting young people.

• Weekly PAYE pay.
