Teaching Assistant

We are seeking passionate and reliable Teaching Assistants to join a supportive Special Educational Needs (SEN) school located in Edgbaston. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with a variety of additional needs, including autism, learning difficulties, communication needs, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.You will work as part of a dedicated team supporting pupils across the school day - either on a one-to-one basis or in small groups - helping them to access learning, manage their emotions, and develop social and life skills in a structured, safe, and inclusive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport pupils with special educational needs to access the curriculumAssist in planning and delivering learning activities under the guidance of teachersPromote positive behaviour and emotional regulation using appropriate strategiesProvide personal care support if requiredSupport pupils during classroom transitions, break and lunch timesRecord and report on pupil progress, achievements and concernsFoster a nurturing and supportive atmosphere to promote pupil wellbeingZest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children.
