The role involves supporting a small group of pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, while also assisting across the wider classroom.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone confident, patient, and resilient who enjoys helping children develop both academically and emotionally. The school has a caring ethos and values staff who can bring positivity, structure, and consistency to the classroom.The Role:Provide focused support to a small group of Year 5 pupils with SEMH and behavioural needsWork closely with the class teacher to implement behaviour strategies and support learningEncourage positive behaviour, engagement, and teamwork within the groupDeliver targeted learning breaks and interventions to help pupils self-regulateSupport whole-class activities and ensure all pupils can access learningHelp maintain a calm, inclusive, and supportive classroom environmentThe Ideal Candidate:Previous experience supporting children with SEMH or challenging behaviourConfident, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with pupilsResilient, proactive, and ..... full job details .....
