Teaching Assistant - Year 2 (SEND Support) - Tunbridge Wells - Immediate Interviews Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful difference in a supportive primary school environment? A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a full-time, permanent Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 class, with a particular focus on pupils with SEND and EHCP needs. The school is looking to interview ASAP for an immediate or upcoming start. About the Role You will be working closely within a smaller-than-average Year 2 class, supporting children with a range of additional needs, including: Non-verbal communication Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) A pupil with hearing impairment (deaf) Experience with BSL (British Sign Language) or Makaton would be highly beneficial, but is not essential - the school is happy to support training and development in these areas. This is a highly rewarding role where you will play a key part in helping pupils access learning, develop communication skills and build confidence in a nurturing classroom environment.
