Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom setting Confident supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2 Able to support early phonics, classroom routines and pupil engagement Comfortable assisting with Year 6 transition work, projects and end-of-year activities Flexible, reliable and able to adapt between different year groups Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one Role Details Location:  Carlisle Pay Rate:  £14.26 per hour Schedule:  Full-time, term time only Dates:  18/05/2026 – 17/07/2026 Booking Type:  Long-term booking for the Summer Term You’ll be splitting your time between Year 1 and Year 6, supporting younger pupils with early learning and phonics while also helping older pupils with transition activities and classroom projects.
