If you have a solid background in classroom support and are ready for a new challenge, we have schools waiting to meet you. We have roles starting ASAP and for the Summer Term (April). You can choose between flexible daily cover or stable long-term placements. What you need: Proven experience working with children in a school or professional setting.A valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one).Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.Classroom and behaviour management. Key Duties: Support students in small groups to help them reach their learning targets.Assist the class teacher with behaviour management and maintaining a calm environment.Help students break down instructions and stay focused on their set tasks.Lead small group sessions to boost progress in core subjects like English and Maths.Act as a reader or scribe for students during assessments and mock exams.Assist the teacher with classroom preparation and organisation.Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all pupils.Provide a brief handover to the teacher regarding student progress during the lesson.
