The successful teaching assistant will be joining the schools established SEN department to assist a student with mild ASD in a 1:1 role. Your main responsibility will be to enhance the pupils learning either individually away from the class in sensory rooms and quiet areas of the school or as a group. The school is in a new building that was recently renovated during the pandemic and has great facilities to assist SEN students. This year they are almost at full capacity with 2 classrooms per year group ranging from EYFS up to Year 6.
