Primary Teaching Assistant - Permanent, Full-Time

Location: Tower Hamlets, East London
Salary: -1,800 - -2,300 per month
Start Date: Immediate / September
Contract: Permanent | Full-time

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets on a permanent, full-time basis.

Working closely with the wider school team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupils'' progress and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

This welcoming primary school provides a supportive and inclusive environment where pupils are encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally. The school values teamwork and has a strong focus on creating a positive learning environment for both pupils and staff.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

• Support pupils'' academic and personal development

• Monitor and assess pupil progress

• Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

• Promote positive behaviour and engagement

• Adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs

• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff

• Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment

Essential:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

• Previous experience teaching within a primary school setting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• A patient, positive and enthusiastic approach

• A genuine passion for supporting children''s learning and development

Desirable:

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN

• Experience across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

• Previous experience working within a UK primary school

• Degree in Education or a related subject
