Teaching Assistant Tutor

Job Title: Teaching Assistant Tutor (Home based) Job Purpose The Teaching Assistant Skills Tutor is responsible for delivering high-quality, work-based teaching, learning, and assessment to learners undertaking Teaching Assistant qualifications and apprenticeships up to Level 5. The role supports learners in developing the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for excellence in teaching practice and leadership. The postholder provides professional guidance, assessment, and pastoral support to ensure timely completion, compliance, and high standards of learner welfare. Regular travel to teaching settings and employers premises is required. Key Responsibilities Teaching, Learning and Assessment Deliver engaging and effective training and assessment sessions across Levels 3 5 in Teaching Assistant. Plan and implement high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment tailored to individual learners and employer needs. Conduct workplace observations, professional discussions, and evidence-based assessments in line with awarding body standards. Provide feedback that is constructive, motivating, and developmental. Prepare learners for End Point Assessment (EPA) and support confidence in professional practice. Embed key industry frameworks and best practices. Learner Progress and Support Manage a caseload of learners, ensuring they are supported, motivated, and progressing as planned.
