Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school community in Tower Hamlets. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.This larger than average Primary school is known for being very welcoming, friendly and supportive of staff. Salary and HoursDaily rate: 90- 112 per day PAYE (AWR at 12 weeks)Hours: Full-time, approximately 08:30-16:00Contract: Term-time onlyASAP until July Role ResponsibilitiesProviding 1:1 support for children with Autism, ADHD, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needsSupporting children to access learning both inside and outside the classroomAssisting with behaviour management strategies in line with school policiesOffering personal care where required, including supporting students with mobility or hygiene needsWorking closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals to implement individual education plansThis role would suit someone who is nurturing, proactive and passionate about inclusive education.
