As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support students both academically and pastorally. You will help create a positive learning environment and provide targeted support where required.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting students within the classroom and across the school

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required

• Helping students access and understand their learning

• Have previous experience working within a school or educational setting

• Have experience supporting secondary-aged students

• Are confident supporting students in a classroom environment

• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Can work effectively as part of a wider school team

• Can build positive and professional relationships with students and staff

• Have a genuine commitment to supporting young people''s education

Experience supporting students with additional needs would be advantageous.

To work in schools through Tradewind Recruitment, candidates will need to provide the appropriate documentation and complete the necessary safeguarding and recruitment checks, including:

• An up-to-date CV

• Proof of Right to Work in the UK

• Enhanced DBS certificate suitable for working with children, or willingness to obtain one

• Two suitable professional references

• Evidence of relevant qualifications or training, where applicable

• Any required safeguarding documentation or training
