Graduate Teaching Assistant | Full-Time | September 2026

A thriving secondary school in Hounslow is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026. This is a full-time position, working five days per week, initially for one term, with a strong possibility of the contract being extended based on performance and school requirements.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important part in helping students achieve their academic goals by providing classroom support, delivering targeted interventions and encouraging confidence in learning. You will work closely with teachers to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.

• Support teaching staff during lessons across a range of curriculum subjects.

• Deliver one-to-one and small group learning activities.

• Encourage positive behaviour and student participation.

• Help prepare learning resources and classroom materials.

• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.

• Promote a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.

• Build positive relationships with students and colleagues.

• A degree from a Russell Group University is essential.

• A genuine interest in education and supporting young people.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A proactive, organised and adaptable approach.

• The ability to work collaboratively within a school team.

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.

• Full-time role, Monday to Friday.
