SEMH Teaching Assistant - Full-TimeLocation: Stretford, Manchester Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Full-Time Agency: Tradewind RecruitmentTradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Stretford, working with pupils who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or someone with relevant experience who is passionate about supporting children to overcome barriers to learning and reach their potential.The RoleAs an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:Provide 1:1 and small-group support to primary-aged pupils.Support pupils with their emotional wellbeing, behaviour and learning.Build positive and trusting relationships with children.Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support individual needs.Promote positive behaviour, confidence and independence.Help create a calm, safe and nurturing learning environment.The Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will have:Experience working with children, ideally within an SEN or SEMH setting.A calm, patient and nurturing approach.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.The resilience and flexibility to support pupils with challenging behaviours.A genuine passion for helping children succeed.This is a full-time opportunity starting ASAP, with the potential for a long-term position for the right candidate.If you''re passionate about ..... full job details .....
