Teaching Assistant

Looking for your next opportunity in a welcoming primary school? Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Winsford, supporting pupils across Year 3/4.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to gain valuable experience in a supportive school environment. The role is full-time for one month, starting on 21st September.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils with their learning and development throughout the school day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils across a Year 3/4 classroom.
• Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities.
• Providing additional support to pupils who may need extra help accessing the curriculum.
• Working with individuals and small groups where required.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and maintaining a calm learning environment.
• Supporting pupils'' academic, social and emotional development.
• Helping to create an inclusive and positive classroom environment.

To be considered for this role, we will need -

• Proof of Right to Work, this could be your Passport or Birth Certificate.
• A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
• A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us. (We will refund the cost of the DBS)
