Teaching Assistant positions in:   Primary schools  Secondary schools  Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools    Working patterns    Flexible day-to-day supply  Part-time  Full-time  Opportunities that can lead to permanent positions    Main responsibilities    Supporting pupils with English, Maths and Science.  Working one-to-one with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN).  Encouraging and motivating pupils.  Assisting the classroom teacher with lessons and classroom management.    Requirements    A university degree (degrees in Education, Early Years, Psychology or Sports are particularly desirable, but other relevant degrees will also be considered).  Strong communication and relationship-building skills.  Good understanding of SEN and additional learning needs.  Reliability and a strong work ethic.
