Teaching Assistant - NottinghamshireFull job descriptionTeaching Assistant - NottinghamshireJanuary 2027 Start Full-Time and Part-Time OpportunitiesTradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting Teaching Assistants across Nottinghamshire ahead of a busy January 2027.We work with primary schools across the county and are looking for enthusiastic and reliable TAs who can support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.Opportunities range from general classroom support to intervention work, small-group support and 1:1 roles.Responsibilities may include:Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activitiesWorking with pupils individually and in small groupsDelivering targeted interventionsSupporting children with reading, phonics, maths and wider curriculum workHelping pupils remain engaged and confident in their learningSupporting behaviour and maintaining a positive classroom environmentPreparing classroom resources and assisting with general classroom organisationRequirements:Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting is desirableA relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageousGood literacy and numeracy skillsA positive and proactive approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsEnhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for oneRight to work in the UKRates of pay will depend on relevant qualifications, previous school-based experience and the responsibilities of the individual role.By registering with ..... full job details .....
