As a Teaching Assistant working through Tradewind, you could be supporting pupils and teachers across a variety of primary settings. Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Working with individuals, small groups and whole classes
• Supporting pupils with their learning, development and well being
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and preparation
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where appropriate
• Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff
• Adapting to different schools, year groups and classroom environments

• A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification
• Previous experience working within a primary school setting
• The ability to support across EYFS to Key Stage 2
• A professional, positive and reliable approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Flexibility and a willingness to work in different school environments
