As a Secondary Learning Support Assistant or 1:1 TA, you could support pupils across a range of secondary school settings, working alongside teachers and other support staff to help students access their education.

Assignments may involve general classroom support, 1:1 pupil support or small-group interventions, depending on the needs of the school.

This opportunity would suit experienced TAs, LSAs, 1:1 TAs and education support professionals looking for flexible supply work.

Your Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils across secondary school settings.
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required.
• Helping pupils access classroom activities and learning.
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
• Maintaining a calm, consistent approach to behaviour management.
• Working closely with teachers and pastoral/support teams.
• Encouraging pupils'' independence, confidence and engagement.
• Following school safeguarding and behaviour policies.
