Full-Time Teaching Assistant - Reception Class
Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school, working within a vibrant Reception class. This position is being advertised on behalf of the school by our education recruitment agency.

We are seeking a nurturing and proactive individual who is passionate about early years education and committed to helping young children thrive in their first steps of school life.

The Role:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Assisting with the development of children''s social, emotional, and academic skills
• Working with small groups and on a one-to-one basis where required
• Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting classroom routines, behaviour management, and daily activities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with young children, ideally within an EYFS setting
• Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
• Show initiative and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of school life
• Hold a relevant qualification (desirable but not essential)
