This is a hands-on, rewarding role supporting pupils in a busy and engaging upper KS2 classroom, working closely with the class teacher and wider school team. About the role As Year 5 Teaching Assistant, you will provide targeted support to pupils across a range of abilities, working both within the classroom and in small group or one-to-one settings. Year 5 is a pivotal year as pupils build towards the demands of KS2 SATs in Year 6, and your role in keeping them focused, motivated and progressing will be genuinely important.
