This is a hands-on, rewarding role supporting pupils in a busy and engaging upper KS2 classroom, working closely with the class teacher and wider school team.
About the role
As Year 5 Teaching Assistant, you will provide targeted support to pupils across a range of abilities, working both within the classroom and in small group or one-to-one settings. You will support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons, helping to implement differentiated activities, manage resources and ensure all pupils are fully included in their learning. You may also be called upon to support pupils with specific needs, including those with SEND, EAL or social and emotional challenges.
The school has a positive, collaborative culture where teaching assistants are respected members of the team. Strong behaviour management systems are in place, and the leadership team is approachable and supportive.
