Teaching Assistant

The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Mount St Josephs Via the St Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Academy Trust, to recruit a Teaching Assistant to provide additonal support to small groups and individual students. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing and values-led school community that places children’s wellbeing and development at the heart of everything it does.

We are looking for a Teaching assistant for a full time long term role to start ASAP and to start the academic year with Mount St Josephs RC High School. 

Both 1:1 support and general classroom assistance will be required.

 The ideal candidate will:

• Be kind, patient, and flexible, with a genuine passion for supporting children

• Have experience working with children with additional needs (desirable)

• Be confident working 1:1 and as part of a team

• Demonstrate strong communication skills and emotional intelligence

• Be reliable, proactive, and able to follow instructions while using initiative

• Be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
