Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Contract: Potential for a long-term placement

We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a school in Staplehurst.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in an educational environment and is looking to make a positive contribution to pupils'' learning and development. We are looking for someone hard working and happy to get stuck in with everyday school activities, behaviour management and full support to children in and out of the classroom.

The Role:

• Supporting teachers with the delivery of classroom activities and lessons.
• Providing individual and small-group support to pupils.
• Helping to create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence and progress.
• Assisting with classroom organisation and day-to-day activities.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has a genuine interest in supporting children''s education and development.
• Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is patient, adaptable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Can commit to full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.
• Is open to the possibility of a long-term placement within one school, providing consistency for both pupils and staff.

Previous experience working in a school or educational setting would be beneficial, due to needing support for the behaviour/SEN side of things, although a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are equally valued.
