Teaching Assistant

A secondary school in the NG8 area is looking to appoint some Teaching Assistants to support the team this academic year. This role would suit someone with experience working with young people in a school, tutoring, coaching or youth work setting. It may also suit graduates considering teacher training in the future. The successful candidate will support classes during short-term staff absences, ensuring pupils remain on task and follow the work set by teaching staff. You will work across different subject areas and year groups, so confidence in managing behaviour and communicating clearly is important.
