Salary: £90 - £100 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of mainstream and SEND schools across Teesside, who are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants on a temporary day-to-day basis. These schools are dedicated to creating positive and inclusive learning environments where every child is encouraged to succeed.

The schools are looking to take on enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to provide classroom support across a variety of key stages and abilities. The successful Teaching Assistant will support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, assisting with classroom activities, behaviour management, and student engagement throughout the school day.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

Experience working with children in a school or educational setting

A caring and patient nature

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience supporting children with SEND / SEN needs beneficial

A proactive and adaptable attitude

A ‘can-do’ approach with the willingness to get stuck in
