TeacherActive is supporting a mainstream primary school in Alnwick with the recruitment of a Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school is looking for someone who enjoys working closely with children and can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.This is a long-term Teaching Assistant role starting ASAP, with opportunities to support different classes across KS1 and KS2. You will work alongside class teachers to provide one-to-one and small group support, assist with learning activities, encourage pupil engagement and help maintain positive behaviour throughout the school day.The successful Teaching Assistant will have:• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification would be advantageous • Previous experience working with primary-aged children • Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and/or KS2 • The confidence to support learning individually and within small groups • Good communication and behaviour management skills • A caring, reliable and proactive approach to supporting childrenIn return for the above you can expect to receive:• A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to help you with the easy onboarding ..... full job details .....
