Teaching Assistant

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an OFSTED rated ‘Outstanding’ primary school in Mansfield, who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. The school provides a positive and supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence and achieve their potential.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1, assisting the class teacher with learning activities, classroom management and providing additional support to pupils where required.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• A minimum of three months’ experience working in a UK school
• Experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1
• A good understanding of the Primary Curriculum
• Strong communication and classroom support skills
• A positive, patient and adaptable approach
