We are seeking resilient, compassionate, and adaptable Teaching Assistants who are confident working in these settings.These are long-term opportunities with the potential to become permanent for the right candidates, offering a rewarding chance to make a meaningful impact on young people s lives.Key Responsibilities: Support pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 or small group basis Assist in delivering tailored learning activities to meet individual needs Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to support engagement and progress Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour using appropriate strategies Support pupils emotional regulation and social development Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times Requirements: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs (desirable) A calm, patient, and resilient approach Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills Ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children What We Offer: Opportunities in supportive and well-structured SEMH settings Ongoing professional development and training ..... full job details .....
