TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Ebbw Vale, seeking a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team.

This is a full-time, long-term temporary opportunity starting ASAP, with the view of continuing until the end of the summer term.

The successful candidate will work closely with nursery-aged children with Additional Learning Needs, providing tailored support to help them develop their confidence, independence and early learning skills.

• Experience supporting children with ALN, ideally within an Early Years setting.

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to nursery pupils with ALN.

• Encouraging independence through play-based learning.

• Working closely with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive environment.

• Helping children feel safe, supported and confident throughout the school day.
