TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND school in Sale, supporting pupils with PMLD, Autism, and complex needs. The school has a nurturing and inclusive ethos, with a strong team of caring staff dedicated to providing a safe and engaging learning environment.

The school is looking to take on a committed Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis. The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting students with PMLD, Autism, and complex needs, assisting with personal care, supporting learning activities, and helping to manage behaviour in a structured and supportive way.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children with PMLD, Autism, and complex needs
• Previous experience within a SEND school or similar setting
• A good understanding of personal care requirements
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, calm, and nurturing approach
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
