TeacherActive is excited to be working with a Primary School based in Pontypridd. The school provides a stimulating, friendly and caring environment, where every child feels values, respected and listened to. The school is looking to take on a highly skilled Teaching Assistant on a long term basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing pupils in Key Stage 2/KS2, supporting their learning with an enthusiastic teaching style. You will be expected to work closely with the classroom teacher, motivating pupils using creative resources to contribute to their development whilst following child protection and safeguarding guidelines. This role will be a great opportunity to enhance your skills and develop your experience as a Teaching Assistant.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Teaching Assistant Qualifications or at least 6 months experience working with children
• Ability to create valued pupil/colleague relationships
• Excellent planning, organisation and classroom management skills
• Experience teaching up to Key Stage 2 / KS2
