Teaching Assistant

The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a part-time, day-to-day basis from September. The successful Teaching Assistant will support the classroom teacher, work with pupils individually and in small groups, encourage positive behaviour and help create an inclusive learning environment.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience supporting children within a school or educational setting
• The ability to support pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis
• Good classroom and behaviour management skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A flexible, positive and reliable approach
