Salary: £92.63 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Exmouth, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant. The school has a strong focus on inclusion, pupil wellbeing, and creating a positive learning environment where all children are encouraged to succeed both academically and personally.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a full-time long-term basis with an immediate start available. The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting pupils across the Primary age range, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities, provide classroom support, and assist children with SEND needs where required. Previous experience is preferred but not essential for the right Teaching Assistant with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred but not essential

Experience working within a school or educational setting preferred

A good understanding of supporting children within the classroom

Experience supporting children with SEND preferred but not essential

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A positive and proactive attitude
