Salary: £92.63 - £130 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Salford, who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support a child on a 1:1 basis. This school promotes a caring and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love for learning.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis. The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting a child within the classroom, helping to manage engagement, learning and emotional wellbeing, while working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the child receives the best possible support throughout the school day.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

Experience working within a Primary School setting

Experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis

A caring and patient approach to learning support

Strong communication and behaviour management skills

A positive and proactive attitude

An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
