TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a welcoming primary school in South Manchester, who are looking to appoint a qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated TA with at least 6 months of experience, who is eager to support pupils in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

The Role:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to support learning
• Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Supporting pupils with varying abilities, including those with additional needs
• Encouraging pupil engagement and confidence

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification
• Have a minimum of 6 months experience in a primary school setting
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
• Be proactive, adaptable and enthusiastic
• Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
