The Role:

• Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
• Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to support learning
• Assisting with literacy and numeracy interventions
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Supporting children with additional needs where required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working in a UK primary school (essential)
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Childcare qualification (desirable)
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A proactive, positive and flexible attitude
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
