TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of welcoming primary and secondary schools across Neath Port Talbot. These schools promote active, inclusive environments with a strong focus on pupil wellbeing, engagement, and encouraging learners to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

The schools are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis, with both part time and full time opportunities available. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across a range of age groups, often working with learners who benefit from active, engaging support, using sports, coaching, or outdoor activities to build confidence, behaviour, and participation.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
• A background in sports, coaching, or outdoor activities
• Experience working with children or young people, in any setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive, energetic, and positive attitude
• The ability to build strong relationships with pupils
