Salary: £95 - £110 per day

Do you want a flexible Teaching Assistant role in a supportive special school setting?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with some fantastic special schools based in Mansfield. 

We are looking to take on dedicated Teaching Assistants on a part time or full time basis. The successful Teaching Assistants will be supporting students across a range of age groups, helping to meet individual needs, manage behaviour, and promote engagement in learning within a specialist SEND setting.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

Experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly autism

A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable

Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure

A patient and nurturing approach to support individual learning needs

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to support across different age groups
