Teaching Assistant

TeacherActive is working with a welcoming mainstream primary school that is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join its team immediately. The school has a Good OFSTED rating, excellent facilities and convenient on-site staff parking.

The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2, working with children from Year 1 through to Year 6. The position will involve a mixture of general classroom support and one-to-one work, helping pupils remain engaged, confident and able to access their learning.

• Have previous experience supporting children in a primary school setting
• Be confident working across KS1 and KS2
• Provide effective classroom and one-to-one support
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Demonstrate a patient, caring and adaptable approach
• Have strong behaviour-management and communication skills

• A competitive daily rate of £185–£240
