Salary: £85.50 to £95.00 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Caerphilly that is looking to appoint a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The school prides itself on its supportive staff team and inclusive ethos, creating a positive environment where both pupils and staff are encouraged to succeed.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant from October on a long-term basis. The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will be supporting children within the nursery class, working closely with pupils with ALN, providing tailored support, assisting with learning activities and carrying out aspects of personal care where required.

The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience working within an Early Years or Nursery setting
• Experience supporting children with ALN
• A caring and compassionate approach, including assisting with personal care
• Good knowledge of child development and the Early Years Foundation Phase
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
