TeacherActive is proud to be working with a busy Primary School in Cardiff. The school promotes a welcoming and supportive environment where every child is encouraged to succeed, and staff work collaboratively to ensure pupils receive the highest standard of education and care.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from September 2026. The successful Teaching Assistant will work across all year groups within the primary phase, providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs and helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers and the wider support team to ensure every pupil can access learning and make progress.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a Primary School setting

• Experience supporting children with ALN

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• A patient, caring and nurturing approach

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A positive and proactive attitude
