Teaching Assistant

Teacher Active is currently looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join our client schools support staff team and work on a 1-2-1 basis with a child in Key Stage 3 with special educational needs. This is a great opportunity for a caring, passionate individual to join our school. The primary responsibility will be to help the child access and engage in the curriculum and support the learning processThe ideal candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of different learning support strategies, a compassionate and patient demeanour and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience of working with SEN children in a mainstream setting will be looked upon favourably. You will be part of a dedicated learning support team, managed by the School s Head of Learning Support. We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who will be able to join our excellent team of staff.
