TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Mansfield that is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. The school has been rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED and provides a positive environment where pupils are supported to develop academically and personally.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a permanent basis from September 2026, supporting pupils across Year 1 to Year 6. The successful Teaching Assistant will work alongside class teachers to support learning, encourage pupil engagement and help children access classroom activities effectively.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children in a primary school or similar educational setting
• Experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2
• A good understanding of how to support children''s learning and development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient and positive approach
• The ability to work effectively as part of a classroom team
