Salary: £90 - £100 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Newcastle, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant. The school prides itself on creating an inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to thrive, supported by a caring leadership team and positive school ethos.

The school is looking to appoint a Primary Teaching Assistant on a short-term basis starting in September. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 support to pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping to promote engagement, confidence and academic progress while working closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality support.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working within a UK primary school
• Experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
• Confidence supporting children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, proactive and flexible approach
• A genuine passion for supporting children''s learning and development
