Teaching Assistant

Teachwise is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant-for a local secondary academy based in Rochdale.- The role will begin on 25th March-and will continue on a full-time basis, 5 days per week until the summer.

The role will involve working with pupils across KS3 & KS4.- You will need to have excellent communication skills coupled with an ability to engage with a pupils from a wide array of backgrounds.

The position would suit someone who has previously worked as a teaching assistant-within a secondary school setting or someone who has worked with secondary age pupils within a sports club,-youth club or outreach.

Key skills:

• Experience working with pupils across KS3/4
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to engage and build rapport quickly
• Ability to manage and improve-behaviour & outcomes
• Committed to pupil progress and positive outcomes
• Available from 25th March
• Hold right to work in the UK
• Hold and enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
