About the Role
Teach South seeks two Teaching Assistants in Worthing for full-time, long-term placements starting promptly. Working Monday to Friday, 8:20am until 3:00pm, the hourly rate is £14.24. One post involves supporting Reception children with Autism Spectrum Condition and speech, language, and communication needs within a nurturing setting. The second role provides additional adult support in Year 1, assisting three boys with special educational needs and disabilities, including ASC, ADHD, and demand avoidance. Candidates should be calm, resilient, and caring, with strong communication and behaviour management abilities. These long-term positions carry the potential to become contracted. The successful applicants will help pupils access learning and thrive.
Teaching Assistants / SEND Support Staff – Worthing – Two Full-Time Long-Term Roles
Are you a calm, resilient and caring individual who wants to make a real difference to children's lives? We are looking for two committed support staff to join our school in Worthing on long-term placements, starting as soon as possible.
Role 1: Reception – ASC and Speech/Language Support
Support young children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and speech and language needs in a nurturing Reception setting.

Work alongside the class team to support a small group of three boys with SEND needs, including ASC, ADHD and demand avoidance. You will help manage classroom dynamics and behaviour, and keep learning on track for every child.
