Teaching Assistant (TA) - Full Time

Veritas Education is currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Chorley.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving school environment where you''ll play a key role in supporting students both academically and pastorally. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to help create a positive learning experience for pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Supporting students within the classroom across a range of subjects
• Delivering one-to-one and small group interventions
• Assisting teachers with classroom preparation and lesson delivery
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning
• Building positive relationships with students and staff

• Experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting
• A positive, proactive and flexible approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for supporting students to achieve their potential
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
