About the Role
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and personable Learning Support Assistant to join a large team of dedicated staff. This is a rewarding role where patience, empathy, and strong communication skills will make a real difference to pupils across KS1 and KS2.
The main aspect of the role will be supporting pupilsandrsquo; learning within a classroom environment. You will work with a variety of pupils with differing needs, so flexibility and positivity are essential.
A full induction process will be provided, and there are excellent opportunities for career progression. Many graduates in this role have gone on to train as qualified teachers.
What Youandrsquo;ll Be Doing
- Supporting pupilsandrsquo; learning in mainstream lessons
- Providing 1:1 or small group support where required
- Assisting teaching staff with adapting learning resources to suit individual needs
- Encouraging pupils to build independence, confidence, and resilience
- Supporting the smooth running of the classroom and fostering a positive learning environment

What Weandrsquo;re Looking For
- GCSE Grade C/4 (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics (essential)
- Experience supporting children with additional needs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
